This landmark rural resort dates from 1664 and is just outside the historic town of Scone and 3 miles from central Perth. It features two restaurants and two 18-hole golf courses, and afternoon tea is available. Activities include hunting, shooting and fishing, and bicycles are offered for a fee.

The rooms marry traditional decor and tartan fabrics with modern features including free Wi-Fi, TVs, and tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms also come with complimentary mineral water and shortbread.
